Women's Celebration

As a part of our 35th Anniversay, the women's celebration and Dyke March will be even better than last year!

The women's celebration will be held at Civic Center Park on Saturday, June 19th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you enjoyed the show last year -- get ready because this year is going to be even better!

Suzanne Westenhoefer -- the Funniest. Lesbian. Ever. -- will be hitting the Main Stage on Saturday evening to share her unique brand of lesbian humor.
Her groundbreaking career as the first openly lesbian comedian ever to appear on television, includes appearances on Letterman, HBO, Bravo, Logo and GSN as well as performances across the US in popular theaters, clubs, and fundraisers.

New York-based Lori Michaels and her sexy dance troupe Me and the Girls also will be featured performers on the Main Stage on Saturday. Michaels and her girls are known for leaving women swooning in their wake, and her live shows "are the stuff of lesbian legend," according to Curve magazine. Hold on to your panties ladies. Better yet, get ready to throw them.

In addition, rising star Coles Whalen will bring her unique country style to the Main Stage on Saturday afternoon. Singer/songwriter Coles Whalen fronted a band in Los Angeles for two and a half years prior to going solo.  She released her first album, Gee Baby, in 2005. Her second album, Nothing Is too Much, was released in 2007.
